Lord Strathcona Elementary School was built in 1892 and is the oldest school in Vancouver. In 2011 Underhill was contracted to perform an extents survey on four of the buildings. This project involved a full exterior 3D laser scan of four school and community buildings.

The project deliverables were 2D drawings of all building faces, including window openings, doors and architectural building details. Additionally, we provided a “Faro Webshare” visualization project that is viewable by any authorized user. This feature allows consultants to access high resolution 3D images taken at every scanner location. The point cloud data was also be provided for additional dimension extraction and visualization.
