1997-1999 Bursa, Turkey - Cadastral Reform Project

Underhill supplied GPS consulting expertise to IGS for this World Bank project. Leica System 300/9500 dual frequency receivers were utilized.

Data was post processed using Leica's SKI software. Geolab was utilized for adjustment and analysis of the data.

The project involved the positioning of some 30,000 cadastral polygon corners throughout the Bursa metropolitan area.

1996-1997 Chiang Mai, Thailand - Precise GPS/Gravity Project

Underhill was contracted by MWH Geo-Surveys Ltd. to provide GPS positioning expertise on this project in northern Thailand. In the first field season 2,200 points were positioned using Leica System 300 dual frequency receivers and SKI post processing software.

Static and fast static techniques were utilized. In the second season 3,500 points were positioned using Ashtech Z Surveyor receivers and Ashtech Office Suite for Survey (AOSS) processing software. Static, fast static, and stop-and-go kinematic techniques were used.

GeoLab II was used in the adjustment of each days data. All adjustments were performed on WGS'84 using the OSU91A geoid model. The final coordinates were transformed to the Indian Datum on the Everest Ellipsoid.
